DORA farm is made now of 6 olive orchards, all spread in the same area and managed according to the principles of extensive agriculture and agroecology…and with some passion for historical ecology and GIS!
Do you know that small-scale agriculture has a direct impact on climate change adaptation?
As stakeholders involved in the LIFE project "OLIVE4CLIMATE", we are engaged in reducing farming inputs to increase the sustainability of our whole supply chain, in compliance with the carbon footprint standard ISO 14067.
DORA is a member of the Expert Working Group “How can environmental regulators support businesses to improve the outcomes of their operations for biodiversity, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises in the food and beverage sector in Europe?”, within the HORIZON2020 project EKLIPSE.
DORA is the 2nd farm in Italy for best practices, according to the Italian Ministry of Agriculture! And we have been directed in the making of a professional documentary by Adriano Sforzi, young and talented film director, winner of the prestigious David di Donatello.
